Superior Homes, a Kenyan real estate firm has announced plans to list at the Nairobi Securities Exchange through the Growth Enterprise Market Segment (Gems) in a bid to raise capital for expansion.
To facilitate the listing it has picked Burbidge Capital as the lead advisors, A&K as transaction lawyers and PKF to offer accounting and business advisory services.The funds raised from the listing will help the company embark on new real estate projects, according to the firm statement.
“We have picked a superb team with a proven track record to steer us through this process and we are targeting for listing by introducing subject to regulatory approvals in the second half of 2016. We have chosen this road to help the company grow its business to the next level,” said the Superior Homes Kenya managing director Ian Henderson.
Superior Homes is known for Greenpark Estate in Athi River that comprises more than 700 homes.The firm is currently working on other projects that include a 50-room luxury hotel in Lake Elementaita.
“We intend to maximize returns for shareholders through our growth strategy,” added Mr. Henderson.
