EABL half year Profits hit 10.6Billion

East African Breweries Limited (EABL) announced a pre-tax profit of Kshs10.6 billion during the half-year ending 31 December 2019, representing a 9% increase compared to the same period last year. Profit after tax also grew at the same rate, reaching Kshs7.2 billion during the period under review. Sonko reshuffles Cabinet in bid to bring sanctity in the city

By Samson Wire Governor Mike Sonko has made changes to his cabinet in a bid to revamp services as he battles to clear his name. Sonko reinstated Charles Kerich as CEC after his suspension in September last year. Kerich now heads the Lands, Urban Planning and Housing docket that was previously held by Pauline Kahiga. He is expected to spearhead the urban renewal program that targets to set up affordable houses for Nairobi residents.
