Nairobi City County Government collected Sh 1.7 billion from its parking charges in the period ending 30th march this financial year. The county had projected to collect Sh 2.6 billion by close of the 2018/19 financial year and with one and half months only remaining before the year ends, the target remains a pipe dream. Issuance of new liquor licenses in Nairobi has been frozen in a move aimed at allowing Nairobi City County Alcoholic Drinks Control and Licensing Board to review existing liquor outlets. City Hall to complete new ICU Unit at Mama Lucy Hospital in December

The Nairobi County Government has given itself 90 days to complete the stalled construction of the ultra-modern Intensive Care Unit at the Mama Lucy Hospital. The 72 bed capacity facility will be ready for unveiling in December according to acting Nairobi Health County Executive Member Vesca Kangogo who says that 90 over 70% of the work has been done.
