UN: 17% of All Food Available at Consumer Levels is Wasted

An estimated 931 million tonnes of food, or 17% of total food available to consumers in 2019, went into the waste bins of households, retailers, restaurants and other food services, according to new UN research conducted to support global efforts to halve food waste by 2030. New borehole to benefit 3000 Kericho residents

In a bid to provide clean and safe water for communities in Kericho, James Finlay Kenya, Ministry of Energy and County Government of Kericho have commissioned a new borehole in the area. The new Simchorwa borehole will benefit approximately 3,000 people from the county; including several schools and dispensaries.
