Christian presidential aspirants have today come together to form the Eagles National Alliance in a meeting convened by the Kenya Coalition of Church Alliances (KCCAM) at the ACK Guest House.

The Alliance is aimed at giving a united political font for purposes of the country’s leadership under the guidance of the church.

The prayer breakfast meeting was attended by nine presidential aspirants among them the Umoja Summit Presidential Candidate Mr. Walter Mong’are Snr, Reuben Kigame, Dr. Jeff Kaluyu, Justus Juma, Duncan Otieno, and Waiya Mwaure.

“We have accepted as political aspirants from political parties affiliated to Christianity to come together and listen to our elders and for guidance in terms of what we need to do as presidential aspirants in terms of what Christianity expects,” said Mr. Walter.

Among the political parties represented that have joined forces to form the Alliance are the Umoja Summit Party, Unified Change Party and the Justice and Freedom Party.

The Eagles National Alliance stated that it will be announcing their position in the next few days in line with the timeline as guided by IEBC’s calendar for elections.
