Kenya to host the 2022 Victoria Cup

Kenya will be hosting this year’s Victoria cup, an event between Kenya and Uganda at Limuru country club  This will take place from July 28th to 31st, where each team will be represented by 10 players.

Today we are pleased to announce the teamof 10 that will represent Kenya in this year’s Victoria cup.” Said Mr.Njani Ndiritu, chairman Kenya Golf Union.

Since it’s inauguration in 2016, Kenya has won the event three times and lost to the Ugandan team in 2019 at Entebe Golf Club.

Team Kenya will comprise of Adel Balala, Andrew Wahome, Christopher Andrea, Daniel Kiragu, Dennis Maara, Ebill Omollo, John Lejirma, Michael Karanga, Njoroge Kibugu and Sammy Mulama.

30 % of our players are juniors and it is a good thing for golf future in Kenya.” Mr. Njani added.

The event is scheduled to start on Thursday 28th July 2022 where there will be  a practice round and flag raising ceremony and end with the fifth round on Sunday 31st July 2022.
