Taxi hailing app Little has roll-out of its Boda Boda product in Kisumu commonly known as“Little Boda”.
Speaking on the roll out CEO of Little Kamal Budhabatti said
“Boda bodas are a very popular transport alternative for many Kenyans in the urban and peri urban areas. We as Little want to extend the same great offering that is available in Nairobi to extend to the Kisumu region”
The service will work in the same way as Nairobi. Users will need to download and log in to the Little application, select boda boda among other options available. Click on confirm ride and it will pick the nearest boda boda.
“To get onboard, we are currently targeting the ones who have been on the industry and know the routes. They will be taken through a vigorous vetting process. We will issue the motobike riders with two helmets and reflectors.”
This unique service seeks users who need to beat the traffic, enable individuals who need a delivery service and/or are looking for a cost-effective means of transport means.

Little Boda introduction will complement the existing car product that has been live in Kisumu for a year now. Little was launched 3 years ago in July in Kenya and has seen steady growth in numbers of drivers and app users. We currently have over 15,000 drivers on the platform and over 800 corporate companies riding with us.
