Nairobi MCAs have warned executive officers against sabotaging Govenor Mike Sonko in service delivery.
Led by majority leader Charles Thuo , the MCAs have vowed to support the govenor even as he battles his court case.
The MCAs have asserted that Sonko is firmly in charge and that no one should think of using his absence from office to sabotage him or subvert county resources.
“The governor is fully in charge and no one should think of taking advantage of his predicament to swindle resources,” Thuo said .
Thuo said that the MCAs will closely follow up on revenue collection per sector,to ensure that no officer is pocketing county cash.
Meanwhile the MCAs from both the political divide have reveled that they will begin conducting special BBI forums to collect and gather views from residents on what should be included in the BBI report regarding the state of affairs in Nairobi.
The first meeting will be held in Roysambu according to Thuo.
Last week, Embakasi West MP Charles Thuo had called on the BBI taskforce to allow governor Sonko to spearhead the initiative in Nairobi .
