Smartphone manufacturer OPPO has introduced its latest device under the Reno Series, the Reno4 in the Kenyan market, which will retail at Ksh39,999.
OPPO has also introduced the OPPO Watch, its first smartwatch in the market.
OPPO Reno4 is the successor of the Reno3. The Reno4 is equipped with a 6.4-inch Dual Punch-hole Display, is 7.7mm thick and weighs just 165g.
The device comes with two colours: Galactic Blue and Space Black. Reno4’s rear camera features a 3 + 1 four-shot matrix including a 48MP Main Camera, 8MP Ultra Wide-angle Camera, a 2MP Macro Camera and a 2MP Mono Camera, while the 32MP Front Camera captures clear selfies.
Reno4 is packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM. It also has a 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 and 4015mAh battery, and can be charged 50% within 20 minutes, and fully charged within 57 minutes.
The phone is powered by ColorOS 7.2 and pre-orders start September 21, 2020 till September 28, 2020.

OPPO Watch comes with an impressive, vibrant and almost bezel-less 1.6″ AMOLED screen with 301 ppi and 3ATM water resistance. This means you can go swimming or hop in the shower with it.
Running the OPPO Watch is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 3100 chip and an Apollo3 chip. You also get 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage – enough to store your apps.
The straps are made of flouro-rubber and can easily be detached with buttons, continous heart rate monitoring, built-in GPS surrounded by a metal frame although the back frame is plastic.
There are two buttons on the right side, one with a green accent that works as a fitness shortcut while the other is programmable.
Running the OPPO Watch is Google’s Wear OS and ColorOS that features a neatly designed app menu and apps too.
The menu is in a grid fromat for easier navigation on a square screen.
Both ColorOS and WearOS promise to offer smooth operation, including running apps seamlessly, clearing notifications or checking out the watch faces provided.
OPPO Watch comes with nice-to-have fitness features such as five-minute workouts, fitness run, swimming and more which can be viewed onscreen or heard with the speaker the smartwatch comes with.
Sleep tracking and step counter is also included.
