Amb Julius Bitok has been educating students from the most vulnerable families in Uasingishu county for years.
Making his contribution silently Mr Bitok has helped change the lives of many families all over Uasingishu.
It all began with Benard a young man who dropped out of jkuat to milk cows for a living Amb Bitok was touched by his story and opted to pay his school fees until he graduated.
Over 1000 young women and men have benefitted through his foundation this is because he understands the struggles that young people go through just to access education today.
When he was a child he yearned for education and used to walk 10km to school barefoot everyday.
During the holidays and weekends he could sell eggs so that he could get a chance to visit the national library in Eldoret and read.
So many students are going through what he went through and he wishes to alleviate their struggles.
His story is one from rags to riches proving that with determination and due diligence anyone can make it.
